Back to Normal

Alright, I’ve been home now for nearly three weeks and I’m finally getting back to a somewhat normal lifestyle. I’ve been able to enjoy my kids and catching up with my wife. It started off with meeting my daughter at Easton Mall to surprise her with my coming home. It was a moment to be remembered forever. Unfortunately, next to follow I spent sick with a stomach bug. After getting over that, we were surprise by a random act of kindness, with a free trip to Kalahari waterpark. We spent a day and a half there, and then decided to make an impromptu trip to see Wes and Danielle(brother/sister-in-law) in Sugarcreek, Ohio. We enjoyed our time there and then went home to prepare for Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, we had my dad, grandpa, and my sister over for a meal prepared by Chef Katie, my wife. The next day (Christmas day) we visited my mom and her husband follow by Christmas with my in-laws and both sides of their family. A couple days later, here I am enjoying my wife and family, and preparing to go back to work. But only after one last hurrah with my lady to the Florida keys on a long-overdue Cruise.
